Make Yer Own Wine & Beer has a number of policies in place to ensure the best possible experience for our customers. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding our policies.
At Make Yer Own Wine & Beer we take your privacy very seriously. All customer information is treated with the strictest of confidence and is securely stored. We do not share, sell, or allow any third party access to any information on our customers. After all, if we wouldn’t want our information being shared why should we assume you would? Your contact information is safe with us.
Social Media & Website
We love sharing the many events, sales, and customer experiences that happen in our store. It’s always exciting when someone bottles their first batch of wine and beer and their enthusiasm is infectious! From time to time we may share photos of our customers on Facebook or on our website as they work on their wine or bottle their beer. We will never take photos of our customers or post them online without their express permission. We take our own privacy very seriously and believe it is important to treat the privacy of our customers with just as much respect and consideration.
Our business thrives because of the customers who support us and their satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. Unfortunately, brewing can be a very subjective hobby as tastes can vary so wildly from person to person. If you have a concern or are dissatisfied with a product or your experience at our store, please – contact us immediately. We cannot do anything about a problem we do not know about! Once we have a chance to talk we will do everything in our ability to resolve the situation.
On-premise Fermenting & Brewing
Due to the nature of the regulations governing on-premise fermenting or brewing, we are not able to work on your kit for you. The rules put in place by the government are very specific in this regards. We will gladly demonstrate the best use of the available equipment and we will be there every step of the way while you brew or ferment on-premise with advice and help. You, the customer, must ferment the wine or brew the beer yourself. We regret that this may, in some exceptional circumstances, cause difficulties for our customers but are hands are unfortunately tied on this issue.
The specific Ferment-on-Premises Regulations made under Section 50 of the Liquor Control Act are available here.
